Ocasión 2008 put some 1,100 semi-new, guaranteed vehicles on sale. The top automobile brands took part through their second-hand divisions, official dealerships and sale-and-purchase companies. Dekra checked every vehicle on display to verify their condition. Some 400 semi-new vehicles were sold, almost 40% of those exhibited, bringing in over 9 million euros.

Two second-hand cars are sold in Catalonia for every new one. The price factor is the tipping point in 86% of sales.

The portal gremimotor.com showcased the specifications of the vehicles on display. Almost 60% of eventual buyers looked for information on the Internet first.

The show was visited by more than 30,000 people. The fact that it was held at the same time as Auto Retro had a very positive effect, increasing visitor numbers by 15% compared to 2007. 67% of sales took place at the weekend and on the public holidays that fell during Ocasión.
